Founded in 1870, the Concours Général Agricole de Paris (General Agricultural Competition of Paris) gives awards for the best traditional French products and the best breeding stock. The annual wine competition is known for its impartiality and the value of its results.

Le Mondial du Rosé
Le Mondial du Rosé is an international tasting competition spotlighting rosé wines from around the world. It is the only annual rosé competition based on the standards of the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV). The event is organized by the Union des Oenologues de France. Gold and silver awards are granted, and no more than 30 percent of the wines entered may receive an award.
Concours des Vins de Provence
Concours des Vins de Provence (formerly Concours des Vins de Provence à Saint-Tropez) is an annual tasting contest open to any vintner producing wines designated as AOP Côtes de Provence, AOP Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, and AOP Coteaux Varois. The competition is governed by the French consumer affairs agency, the DGCCRF, and is judged by a panel of regional, national, and international tasters. It is organized by the CIVP/Provence Wine Council. Gold, silver, and bronze awards are granted.
