Provence rosés are increasingly available throughout the United States. Find a good wine retailer and ask for recommendations. Try to develop a relationship with a wine seller who can help you discover rosés and other wines that suit your tastes - because in the end, what matters is what tastes good to you.
A WORD ABOUT PRICING:
As with all wines, rosé prices may change from year to year, but most rosés - including those imported from Provence - are reasonably priced, at between $10 and $20 per bottle at your local wine shop. Of course, elite French rosés can cost $100 or more per bottle, depending on production costs, availability, and the vintage. |
