Château de Brigue was founded in 1970 by Roger Brun on 70 acres in the Le Luc plains, between Aix-en-Provence and Cannes in sun-baked southern France. In 1986, his son Fernand Brun took over the family business and continued developing the vineyard. A third generation of winemakers has since joined the estate, with brothers Jean-Michel, Christian, Olivier, and Frederic Brun playing the leading roles in the business.
Today, Château de Brigue extends over nearly 300 acres. Inspired by the rosé wine trend, the four brothers have developed elegant rosé wines that delight consumers by their color, aroma, and taste. The brothers' wines regularly receive the highest accolades, elevating Château de Brigue to an institution of superior winemaking. Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are blended into balanced AOC Côtes de Provence rosés under the Brigue Prestige and Signature labels. The domaine also produces red and white wines recognized for their authenticity and meeting consumers' demand for diversity. With 2,000 olive trees, the domaine also produces virgin olive oil that brings the flavors of Provence to a variety of dishes. |
