Château de Jasson
Côtes de Provence
The Château de Jasson vineyard is among the oldest in France; the Greeks cultivated vines on this land back in 600 BC. The etymology of Jasson comes from the Medieval word "Jas," a place where shepherds met before their seasonal movement of flocks. Set between the sea and the hilly Massif des Maures area, the vineyard benefits both from a vine-friendly Mediterranean climate and from chalky-clay soil. Located in the Côtes de Provence AOC, the domaine produces whites, reds, and elegant rosés with rich aromas.
