Château Barbanau
Côtes de Provence
Around 1900, Emile Bodin created the Clos Val Bruyere vineyard. Nearly a century later, one of his grandchildren, together with her family, decided to reoccupy the vineyard and go into wine production. The same year, the family acquired the Chateau Barbanau, which for decades had been selling its grapes to the local wine cooperative. The family rebuilt the abandoned winery and produced its first Chateau Barbanau vintage in 1989.
