Côtes de Provence |
Formerly the summer residence of the archbishops of Toulon, this property bears two names inherited from its past: Château La Tour de l'Evêque and Château La Tour Sainte Anne. The history of this property is tightly tied to the history of France itself, as the countess of Provence gave privileges on this estate to the residents of the community of Cuers. Queen Jeanne of Naples also sojourned there.
The estate is located in an exceptional basin planted with vines and surrounded by the Maures hills. Its wines are made from organically grown grapes certified by Qualité-France SAS.

Pierrefeu du Var |
Facing the community of Pierrefeu, La Tour de l'Evêque occupies a beautiful peak overlooking the "golden triangle" of the Côtes de Provence region. Located in the hilly area of the Maurettes, its terrain consists of shale soils derived from Silurian phyllite, and Permian red sandstone. This terroir produces wines that are full-bodied and mineral.
In total, 220 acres are planted with vines averaging 20 years of age. Nearly 30 acres are resting, and the land left to lie fallow is planted with barley, which will be plowed under for use as green manure.
