Vignobles Francois Ravel is a family-owned company founded in 1964, when the Ravel family returned to Provence from Algeria. Little by little, the family created a viticultural estate that today is one of the most important in the Provence region.
The domaine is housed at Château Montaud, on the site of an ancient Roman settlement. This property includes the winery, bottling plant, and administrative offices of Vignobles Francois Ravel.
In addition to AOC Côtes de Provence wines, the domaine also produces a prestigious line of varietal wines.
Production adheres to the principles of low yields, no irrigation, harvest at the point of perfect ripeness, advanced technology, and noble traditions. |

Mainly composed of shale and sandstone, the domaine’s Permian soils are poor and thus require the wines to take root deeply. This allows them to benefit from the full characteristics of the land. The grapes flourish under the Mediterranean sun, which enables them to acquire their full flavor. |
