Domaines de Bertaud Belieu
Côtes de Provence

The wines of the Presqu'île de Saint-Tropez region can be traced back to the Greeks, the Romans, and Julius Caesar himself, who, arriving to wage war against Marseilles, discovered wine and transported it back to Rome. In time, the monks of Chartreuse of Varnishes inherited the land and carefully developed the locale. Soon their vineyards were supplying sacramental wine to many of the churches and chapels in France.

In 1989, the domaine of Bertaud was purchased by the nearby domaine of Bélieu, and the new name of Bertaud Bélieu was created. This is how the world now knows our wines.
