The Château Sainte Roseline has been producing quality wines since the 14th century. Pope Jean XXII planted the first grapes here before creating the famous Chateauneuf du Pape vineyard. The estate’s 12th-century chapel and cloister attract 40,000 visitors a year. The domaine strives to achieve the highest quality in the vineyard by using green harvest methods, limiting yields, and harvesting at night. Wines are produced with a full-gravity process that avoids pumps. Vinification also includes thermo-regulated steel tanks and oak barrels. |
