Château Thuerry
Coteaux Varois en Provence,
Côtes de Provence

Château Thuerry represents a relationship between man and the land that extends back through the ages. The estate’s majestic bastide, which dates to the time of the Knights Templar, has deep roots in the heart of the Var. The domaine’s 740 acres extend over three villages: Villecroze, Tourtour, and Flayosc. The Var hillsides create a natural barrier that protects the grapes from the mistral winds.

Using a delicate balance of traditional farming and the best modern winemaking methods, the estate produces wines with great character. Production consists of approximately 45% red, 45% rosé, and 10% white wines.

Villecroze
The estate comprises 840 acres of land, of which 111 acres are planted in vines. The soil consists of clay, limestone, and chalk. The vines are situated at an altitude of 1,300 feet, on hillsides with a southern exposure.
Château Thuerry wines are frequently noted in various newspapers and wine books.
